It’s been more than a year since the last installment, but STEAL THIS FILM II is about to come out. We’ve already screened it in Berlin, Sheffield and Stockholm; there’s a screening coming up in Amsterdam to coincide with IDFA, and then Rome, all before the end of 2007. But we’re really more interested in what’s going to happen on the P2P networks when it’s released. Not just the numbers (but we do like the numbers), but the response to the film online through comments, remixes, insults and — occasionally — donations. There’s already been a little leak of a cam, and for those who were really looking out, a workprint earlier in the year. We’ve had encouraging comments. Now it’s time to show our homework to the world.
